Morten grew up in beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark, where he attended his first home economics course in high school. He fell in love with the smell, taste and ability to create edible art. It was then that he knew he wanted a career in the kitchen. He went on to attend culinary school in Copenhagen in 1985, where his passion for cooking continued to grow. He traveled the world for several years, perfecting his craft. He worked in all types of venues including hotels, private clubs and restaurants, until he found his permanent home in Columbus, Georgia.
Chef Morten believes presentation is just as important as taste. His goal is create dishes that awaken the customer's sense of smell, sight, taste and ultimately opens their mind and palate to something new and exciting.
